  1. Due to the survey skip pattern, only individuals who reported prior substance use in the last 6 months were asked questions about change in substance use. Therefore, it was not possible to conduct multiple imputation by chained equation on samples to account for missingness. COVID-19 novel coronavirus disease 2019
  2. Chi-squared tests were conducted for categories with ≥ 5 respondents, while Fisher’s exact tests were conducted for categories with < 5 respondents (transmasculine participants reporting a change in cannabis use)
